No the positivity rate is not the same as prevalence (the percent of population with Covid) as I tried to explain in the article. I'll make it clearer in the next post.

If the positivity rate is 4.2% does this mean 4.2% of the population may have COVID?

No the positivity rate is not the same as prevalence (the percent of population with Covid) as I tried to explain in the article. I'll make it clearer in the next post.
